Del was back into his routine again this morning - up with the birds, showered, breakfast, trailer packed and off by 7.30am. I drove back to Auckland.
He had a relatively easy day today cycling the picturesque 50kms along the lakeside to Turangi. He had arrived at the camp grounds there by midday. Tomorrow he'll tackle the Desert Road.
