Del played his last day of bowls for a while at the Hibiscus Anniversary Weekend Tournament, held today at Bowls Orewa. He takes off for Cape Reinga tomorrow. Dr Bruce Tatnell insisted that he take a drugs test before he left and then produced a rather large syringe and a bottle for a urine sample. I am pleased to say that the test came back negative.

PS The published date shown on the blog is always 24 hrs earlier than the actual date of publishing. Can't seem to improve the situation!
